Real estate is more than just filling in forms or being at open houses. It's about knowing the market in order to give the best advice to clients, and also to represent and justify prices and terms to the other side of the transaction. It's about giving the emotional support that clients need, and being the bridge between two parties in order to bring the deal to a close. It's also about being innovative to find a way to make the property I'm representing, or the offer I'm presenting stand out from the others. It's about reading individuals to find out the desires behind their positions and coming up with ways to satisfy those desires while still getting the best for my clients. It's about being professional and doing due diligence in order to make sure that my clients are informed as to everything that is going on to allow them to make the most rational decisions and to make sure that the deal is closed.
My name is Mark Wiens and I am fantastic at all of the above. I invite you to call and allow me an opportunity to show you for yourself.
With a strong background in business, and firm footing in a university education from both UBC and Zhejiang University in China, I am proud to serve my clients in both my native language English, and Mandarin Chinese.
Before working in the real estate business, my start up business, Community Lawn Care, grew in four years to become the top rated lawn service in Vancouver, grossing a quarter of a million dollars in revenue and winning several industry awards. During this time I learned many lessons, and each opportunity has allowed me to improve myself.
I’ve always believed that participating and supporting community events is not only a good return on investment, but also a duty. To that end I am happy to continue supporting various community initiatives for the fourth year. My community contributions include but are not limited to: Dunbar Little League, Jericho Little League, Kerrisdale Little League, Little Mountain Little League, South Van Little League, Community Baseball and the Kerrisdale Oakridge Marpole Community Policing Centre. If you have an initiative in the community in which you live, please let me know how I can contribute.
Without a doubt, the influx of wealthy buyers from mainland China has had a role in the current state of Vancouver’s real estate market. My experience working as a project manager for Prince Stone in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, one of China’s leading marble tile companies, as well as time spent studying at the top three universities, Zhejiang University and UNNC, China, has allowed me not only to develop the language and cultural skills to work with Chinese clients, but also the ability to best position the sale of your home to these buyers.
Thanks for taking the time to learn a bit about me. I'd love to learn a little about you. Please feel comfortable to give me a call at 778-840-SOLD (7653).
